The Winds of Change blow across the land bringing
opportunities for a better life for our children, and honor to our ancestors

First American Eagle, Ltd (FAE) has identified an extremely desirable site on the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation (CCSR) within Buffalo and Hyde County in Central South Dakota for wind powered commercial generation of electricity. In the Dakotas alone, there are an additional 15 Indian reservations whose existing wind characteristics qualify them as potential participants in an all inclusive wind energy strategy for the Northern Plains area. Based on a preliminary analysis of information provided by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, all Indian reservations in the target area exhibit Class 4, 5 or 6 wind energy characteristics. 1 South Dakota alone ranks 4th in the nation for Wind Energy Development potential.

The area in question is located in central South Dakota, atop rolling hills close to the Missouri River, fairly close to the town of Fort Thompson, located on the Crow Creek Sioux Indian Reservation. The selected site provides an ideal setting and site for the first major, environmentally friendly 75 Megawatt Wind Farm.

As a result of a long standing presence and extensive experience in Indian Country over the last 20 years, FAE has the unique opportunity and capability to enter numerous Indian reservations in the targeted area to pursue various wind energy development projects in the very near future. Potential wind generation opportunities on the Crow Creek Sioux Indian reservation can easily exceed 500 to 600 MW, and could approach 1000 MW if developed and structured properly. First American Eagle, (FAE)  intends to pursue that path, through the development of the first 75 MW wind generation plant, as indicated in the attached satellite maps and land site overlays of the area.
